Attention Medicare Beneficiaries:
You may have important decisions to make regarding your 2007 Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Coverage. Open enrollment begins November 15, 2006

All Sav-Mor Pharmacies accept all Medicare Part D Prescription Drug cards. “Even those with our competitors name”. The Medicare Prescription Drug coverage Plan begins enrollment November 15, 2006 and ends December 31, 2006. Prescription coverage goes into effect on January 1, 2007. Our pharmacies are NOT partnering with any particular group or plan. We are devoted to helping you make the best personal decision for you. Important Dates to Remember

November 15, 2006

This is the first day you can actually sign up for enrollment into a Medicare Part D Plan (or make changes to your existing plan).

December 31, 2006 Open enrollment ends.
January 1, 2007 Prescription drug benefit begins for enrolled members.

Every Medicare beneficiary is eligible for the prescription drug benefit, regardless of income level and resources, health status, or current prescription expenses.

  • You will need to make an important decision about your prescription drug coverage.
  • The prescription drug coverage option you choose affects coverage, cost, convenience, and your security now and in the future.
GETTING READY:

If you currently have prescription drug coverage:

1. Contact your plan benefit administrator to find out if coverage will continue in 2007.

2. Review your current coverage to determine if your medications are covered and if the out-of-pocket costs will change in 2007.

If you need prescription drug coverage or are considering changing plans:

1.
Make a list of the name, strength, and how often you take each of the prescriptions you use. You will need to provide this information to your Sav-Mor pharmacist in order for them to better assist you.

2. If you have limited income and resources, you may be eligible for 'Extra Help'. Contact the Social Security Administration by visiting www.ssa.gov or calling
1-800-772-1213
to learn if you should apply.

3. Visit your Sav-Mor pharmacist. Our Sav-Mor pharmacies have been specially trained to help answer your questions about Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage and maximizing your drug benefit. They are eager to assist you in finding the best drug plans for you.
